CDO SQN REUNION 01 AUG 14 - 03 Aug 14

To celebrate the occasion of the ‘50th Anniversary Commando Reunion’ the Squadron will be going back to its roots, taking a trip down memory lane and having a hoofing run-a-shore in Plymouth. The Reunion will take place over the weekend 01 – 03 August 14 and has been planned to suit Squadron members from across all eras with one thing in mind; Remember Absent Friends, Celebrate the History and Successes of the Squadron and cement the foundations for future generations of “Army Commando Logisticians”

The 50th Reunion is open to all Past & Present, Serving/Non Serving Ordnance Field Park, Commando Ordnance & Logistic Support Squadron members of any Rank and Cap badge. If you have served within the ‘SQN’ your attendance is granted.

To make the 50th Anniversary Reunion as memorable an occasion as possible a lot of thought has gone in to the activities through out the weekend to suit all eras and you are invited to attend where possible. The format of the weekend will be broken down into 3 evolutions with a Friday - Meet & Greet, Saturday - Gentleman’s Lunch and a Sunday - ‘Die Hards BBQ’ being the main events with various other tours and capability displays taking place throughout the weekend.

The 50th Anniversary Reunion is now upon us! It only comes once and will be marked with the respect it is due. Over the last 50 Years Squadron Members Past and Present have all gone through the same gruelling tests of endurance laid on them by the All Arms Commando Course and have displayed the qualities of Strength, Courage, Unselfishness, Determination & Cheerfulness in the face of adversity giving the Squadron the strong reputation it has to this date. Now is the time for the Commando Brethren to come together and celebrate the History & Successes of the Squadron, set the standards for the future and look forward to a further successful 50 years.
